Crab legs have a rich history, with their popularity soaring in the 20th century. The dish gained prominence in coastal regions, particularly in the United States, where it became a staple in seafood restaurants. Renowned chefs like Emeril Lagasse and Gordon Ramsay have elevated crab legs to gourmet status, infusing them with their signature flavors. The best crab legs are often found in coastal regions like the Pacific Northwest and the Gulf of Mexico, where the crabs are harvested fresh. The key to perfect crab legs lies in the cooking method, whether steamed, boiled, or grilled, to preserve their delicate, sweet flavor.
