Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs of ground beef, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of milk, 1 finely chopped seeded jalapeno, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy the spicy kick!
