Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 2 lbs of ground beef, 1 finely chopped onion, 2 minced cloves of garlic, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x5 inch loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce and 1 tbsp of ketchup. Brush the BBQ glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
