Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of light brown sugar and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt; stir into the batter alternately with 1 cup of sour cream.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Spread the remaining batter over the top and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
