- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Cut in the 1/2 cup of cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

- Cut the dough into 2-inch rounds using a biscuit cutter. Place the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush the warm biscuits with the melted 1/4 cup of butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
