  • In another bowl, whisk together 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined. Set aside.
  • In a shallow dish, combine 1/2 cup of brewed espresso and 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur. Set aside.
  • Cut the cinnamon rolls into 1-inch pieces and layer them in the bottom of a 9x9 inch dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • Pour half of the espresso mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked cinnamon rolls.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining cinnamon sugar, espresso mixture, and mascarpone mixture.
