- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese

- 1/4 cup orange liqueur
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, grated
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, whisk together 8 ounces of mascarpone cheese, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of orange liqueur, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and the zest of 1 orange until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Pour 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice into a shallow dish.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie into the orange juice and arrange them in the bottom of an 8x8 inch serving dish to form a single layer.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, dust the top with 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder and 4 ounces of grated dark chocolate.
