Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1/3 cup of butter, melted
- 3 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of white sugar
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup of caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups of chocolate cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/3 cup of melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat 3 packages of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of creamy peanut butter until smooth. Beat in 3 eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pour half of the mixture over the crust. Spoon half of the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer. Repeat with the remaining peanut butter mixture and melted chocolate.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool before removing the pan's sides. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
- Before serving, sprinkle 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts over the cheesecake and drizzle 1/4 cup of caramel sauce on top.
