Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 1/4 cups of flour and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
- In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of packed brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the 2 eggs, one at a time, then stir in the flour mixture.
- Fold in the 2 cups of chocolate chips.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
