Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, chia seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, buttermilk, vegetable oil, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
