Instructions

  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1 egg, and 3 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and sprinkle with a few chocolate chips. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Once all the pancakes are cooked, place a spoonful of caramel sauce in the center of each pancake. Fold the pancake over the caramel to create a stuffed pancake.
