Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pretzels
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Stir in 2 cups of granulated sugar until well combined.
- Beat in 4 large eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in 3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of chopped pretzels, reserving some for topping.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Drizzle 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top and spread evenly.
- Drizzle the remaining 1/2 cup of caramel sauce over the top of the brownie batter and use a knife to swirl it into the batter. Sprinkle the reserved pretzels on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving. Enjoy!
