Ingredients
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1/4 cup of water over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved, then let it simmer without stirring until it turns into a golden caramel color, about 5-7 minutes.
- Carefully pour in 2 cups of milk while stirring constantly to combine the caramel with the milk.
- Continue to cook and stir until the caramel milk is heated through, but do not let it boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the caramel milk into mugs and serve warm. Enjoy!
