Ingredients
- 4 slices of ciabatta bread
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 4 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Brush one side of each slice of ciabatta bread with olive oil.
- Place the bread slices, oiled side down, on a clean work surface.
- Layer the avocado slices, mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, and basil leaves on two of the bread slices.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, oiled side up.
