This method quickly spread to other countries, and canned pork became a staple in many households. Chefs and home cooks have since developed a variety of recipes using canned pork, from hearty stews to savory casseroles. In the southern United States, canned pork is often used in traditional soul food dishes, while in Asia, it's a key ingredient in many stir-fry and noodle dishes.
