Bulgogi

Ingredients
- 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 3 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and caramelized.
- Add the thinly sliced onion to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the onion is tender.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
- Serve the bulgogi hot with steamed rice and enjoy!
