Instructions

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, 1/4 cup honey, and 2 tbsp melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle additional sunflower seeds on top for decoration, if desired.
