- 2 acorn squash, halved and seeded
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Place the acorn squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
