Ingredients
- 8 oz of lo mein noodles
- 2 cups of broccoli florets
- 1 cup of julienned carrots
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and julienned carrots to the skillet, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the cooked noodles and the sauce to the skillet with the vegetables, and toss to combine and heat through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sliced green onions.
