Bishop cake, also known as "Biskoppskaka" in Swedish, is a traditional Scandinavian dessert with a rich history dating back to the 18th century. This delectable cake is named after the bishops who were known for their love of indulgent treats. The cake is characterized by its moist, buttery texture and subtle almond flavor, often topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. Renowned chefs and bakeries in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark have perfected the art of creating this beloved dessert, with each region adding its own unique twist.
