  • Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
  • Once the beef is cooked, shred it using two forks and mix in the BBQ sauce.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of 4 slices of bread.
  • Divide the BBQ pulled beef evenly among the 4 slices of bread with cheese, then top with another slice of cheddar cheese and the remaining 4 slices of bread, buttered side out.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
