Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper to create a batter.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll it in the panko breadcrumbs until fully coated. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the honey garlic BBQ sauce. In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup of honey, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a large bowl and pour the honey garlic BBQ sauce over the cauliflower. Gently toss to coat the cauliflower evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve the honey garlic BBQ cauliflower wings hot as an appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
