Ingredients
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting
- 12 ounces of orange candy melts
- 12 lollipop sticks
- Black food coloring pen
Instructions
- Bake the chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add 1/2 cup of chocolate frosting and mix until well combined.
- Using your hands, roll the cake mixture into 12 evenly sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Melt the orange candy melts in the microwave according to the package instructions.
- Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted candy melts and insert it into each cake ball. Place the cake pops in the freezer for 15 minutes to set.
- Once set, carefully dip each cake pop into the melted orange candy melts, ensuring the entire cake pop is coated. Allow any excess to drip off.
