Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, 1 1/2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/4 cups of milk and 1 large egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Heat a non-stick griddle or skillet over medium heat and add 1/2 tablespoon of butter. Once the butter has melted, pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the griddle as needed.
- In a small saucepan, warm 1/4 cup of maple syrup over low heat until it is slightly runny.
- Serve the pancakes hot with a drizzle of warm maple syrup on top. Enjoy!
