Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 round bread loaf
  • 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about a 1-inch thick shell. Tear or cut the removed bread into bite-sized pieces for dipping and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf.
  • Place the filled bread loaf on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.
  • While the dip is baking, place the bread pieces on a separate baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the bread bowl and toasted bread from the oven. Let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving with the toasted bread pieces for dipping.
