Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Place the tilapia fillets in a baking dish and pour the lemon garlic mixture over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- While the tilapia is marinating, steam the green beans. Place the trimmed green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water and steam for 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp. Remove from heat and set aside.

- To serve, divide the steamed green beans among 4 plates. Place a baked tilapia fillet on top of the green beans and spoon the toasted almond butter over the fish. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
