Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash (about 2 pounds), peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes

- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage leaves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, toss 1 butternut squash with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the squash in a single layer on a baking sheet.

- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of maple syrup over the squash and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh sage leaves.
- Return to the oven and continue roasting for an additional 15 minutes, or until the squash is tender and caramelized.
