Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, the zest and juice of 1 lemon, 2 tbsp of fresh chopped parsley, 1 tbsp of fresh chopped dill, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
  • Place the Arctic char fillets in a shallow dish and pour the lemon and herb marinade over them. Make sure the fillets are evenly coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Remove the marinated Arctic char fillets from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature while the oven is preheating.
  • Place the fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Pour any remaining marinade over the fillets.
  • Bake the Arctic char in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the baked Arctic char hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs and lemon slices if desired. Enjoy!
