Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine. Then, transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of melted butter and sprinkle over the mac and cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
