Ingredients
- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Press the crust into the bottom and up the sides of the dish.
- Sprinkle the cooked and crumbled bacon evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 6 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.
- Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the bacon in the pie crust.
- Unroll the second pie crust and place it over the filling. Trim and crimp the edges to seal the pie.
- Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Allow the pie to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
