  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
  • Take 2 portions of the beef mixture and flatten them into thin patties. Place 2 slices of bacon on one patty, then place the other patty on top and seal the edges to form a stuffed patty. Repeat with the remaining beef mixture and bacon slices.
  • Place the stuffed patties on the grill or skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • During the last 2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with a few slices of avocado and a generous amount of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Cover the grill or skillet to allow the cheese to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster for 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing the stuffed patties on the bottom buns and topping with the top buns.
