Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices tomato
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form them into thin patties.
- Place 2 slices of bacon on a cutting board, slightly overlapping. Place a beef patty on top of the bacon and wrap the bacon around the patty, then repeat with the remaining patties and bacon.
- Grill the bacon-wrapped patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, then adding a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a bacon-wrapped patty with melted cheese, and a few slices of avocado. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve the burgers immediately and enjoy!
