Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon each of dried oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, and sage. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs in batches and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the browned meatballs to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of marinara sauce over low heat.
