Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup pimento cheese spread
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, cook the bacon in a separate skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden.
- To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of pimento cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cooked patty on top of the cheese, followed by a few slices of avocado and a slice of crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
