Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together 1 pound of ground chicken, 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  • While the chicken is cooking, mix together the mashed avocado, lime juice, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl to make the avocado lime spread.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Spread the avocado lime mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Place a chicken patty on top, and add lettuce and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
  • Serve the avocado lime chicken burgers immediately and enjoy!
