Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the patties with olive oil and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, and garlic powder to make the spicy chipotle mayo.
  • Spread the spicy chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  • Place a grilled patty on top of the mayo, then add 2 slices of cooked bacon and a few slices of avocado.
