Ingredients
- 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup of chopped almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time, then stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Combine 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt; gradually mix into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut, 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 cup of chopped almonds.
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
