Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup onion rings
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form them into burger patties.
- Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf and a tomato slice on the bottom half of each bun. Place a cheeseburger patty on top, followed by 2 slices of bacon, 1/4 cup of onion rings, and a generous drizzle of barbecue sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.
