Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 stalks lemongrass, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red chili, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh cilantro and lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with 2 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the chopped lemongrass, minced garlic, and sliced onion to the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Add the sliced red chili to the pan and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the lemongrass beef to a serving plate and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
