Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 1 can (15 oz) of tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté 1 diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves until softened.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of cooked rice, the cooked ground beef, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer the mixture for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the flavors are well combined.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
