Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook 4 slices of thick-cut bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  • Wipe out the skillet and place it back on the heat. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Top each slice with 2 slices of cheddar cheese, half of the avocado slices, and 2 slices of bacon. Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
  • Cook the sandwiches over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve and enjoy!
