The Turkey Club Wrap is a classic American dish that originated in the early 20th century. It is believed to have been created by chefs in New York City, who wanted to put a new spin on the traditional club sandwich. The wrap consists of sliced turkey, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. This dish gained popularity in the 1980s and has since become a staple in many American restaurants and diners. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in delis and cafes across the United States, where chefs take pride in using high-quality, fresh ingredients to create the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The key to a great Turkey Club Wrap lies in the quality of the turkey and bacon, as well as the freshness of the vegetables. Some alternative methods for making this dish include adding avocado or using different types of cheese for added flavor.
