Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup diced celery, 1/4 cup diced red onion, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Mix well.
- Season the tuna salad with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toast 4 slices of bread if desired.
- Place lettuce leaves on 2 slices of bread, then divide the tuna salad mixture evenly between the 2 slices.
- Top with sliced tomatoes and the remaining 2 slices of bread.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and serve immediately. Enjoy!
