Ingredients
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup diced red onion, 1/4 cup diced celery, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto 2 slices of bread and top each with 2 slices of cheddar cheese. Place the remaining 2 slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
