Ingredients
- 2 cans (5 oz) of tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- Lettuce and tomato for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cans of drained tuna, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Form the tuna mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Cook the tuna patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce to make the spicy sriracha mayo.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Spread the spicy sriracha mayo on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a tuna patty on each bun, and top with lettuce and tomato.
- Serve the spicy tuna burgers immediately and enjoy!
