  • 1/4 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1-2 drops of pink food coloring (optional)

Tubby custard is a beloved creamy dessert made famous by the children's television show "Teletubbies." This vibrant, pink-colored custard has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. The history of tubby custard dates back to the 1990s when it was first introduced on the show as the favorite food of the Teletubbies. While it may have originated in the fictional world of the Teletubbies, it has since become a real-life treat enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The best version of this dish can be found in playful themed restaurants or made at home with a mix of simple ingredients like custard powder, sugar, and food coloring. The key to getting it right lies in achieving the perfect creamy texture and vibrant pink color, just like the one seen on the show. Whether you're reminiscing about childhood memories or introducing this whimsical dessert to a new generation, tubby custard is a delightful and nostalgic treat that continues to bring joy to fans of all ages.
