Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Cut the salmon into chunks and place in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, pineapple, egg, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  • Place the salmon patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a salmon patty on each bun, and topping with lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
