Ingredients
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet or griddle.
- Divide the cheese mixture evenly between the two slices of bread on the skillet.
- Top each with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet or griddle and let cool for a minute before slicing and serving.
