Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus extra for sprinkling
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Stir in 2 cups of white sugar, 4 large eggs, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
- Mix in 3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top of the batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving. Enjoy!
