Ingredients
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over them, making sure to coat each piece evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the slow cooker and place it on a serving platter.
- Optional: If you prefer a thicker sauce, transfer the remaining sauce from the slow cooker to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly.
